Anne Heche is an American actress. Her breakthrough came in the realm of entertainment through her portrayal as an actress on the soap opera Another World. She claimed that her father abused her sexually before succumbing to AIDS. As she and the only remaining sibling defended their father, her relationship with her mother was not a good one. Her appearances in a variety of TV shows and films like 'Fatal Wish', 'The Brave', 'Wild", Walking and Talking', and I Know What You DID Last Summer. The relationship she had with Ellen DeGeneres caused controversy throughout her career. Then she married Coley Lafoon but divorced him afterward. Thereafter, she dated James Tupper and had another son with James Tupper. She published a book titled "Call Me Crazy: A Memoir' in where she described her messy childhood, her abusive father and love affair with a lesbian. The author was confronted with emotional and psychological issues following the breakup with DeGeneres who required her to be medically treated. Anne Heche died in Los Angeles's medical center on August 6, 2022. She had been involved in a fatal accident just six days prior. She was 53.
