Zoe-perry

Perry was born on July 25, 1968 in Chicago In Illinois, she was the child of Laurie Metcalf Perry and Jeff Perry. The role of Jackie Harris was played by her mother in each of her two appearances on Roseanne. However, her parents did not want her to perform until she turned an adult fearing the effect of stress. Perry confessed that she wasn't at ease in the stage during high school. However, she began acting to make friends in Northwestern University after switching from Boston University. When she graduated, Perry went in New York to search for jobs on television, landing small parts on series such as Law & Order: Criminal Intent However, she was stricken by homelessness and brought Perry back home to California and she was able to find theatre work. She and her mother starred on Broadway together in The Other Place, in 2013. In 2015, she was a part of her father as well as Kevin McKidd in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize-winning drama Anna Christie at the Odyssey Theatre Ensemble in West Los Angeles. Perry was a part of the drama's nine episodes from 2016 on ABC's show The Family. In 2017, she starred in a recurring role on the ABC drama about politics Scandal with her father. The actress also portrayed her young Mary Cooper in Young Sheldon - a CBS spin-off from The Big Bang Theory. The role was offered to her by auditioning for an open role despite being connected to this character.
